We really like fish and we prepare it more fried like "fish and chips" or in the oven with vegetables. But plaice is our favorite and I haven't done it for a long time… so I went shopping to get fish for plaice, and here is salmon trout (it has pink meat) otherwise I can't find it, so I said and done! a madness came out! Fish lovers will surely like it!

  • 3 large fish (approx. 1.5 kg)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • a can of whole tomatoes (800 gr) or fresh and scalded tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup oil or simmer the vegetables
  • a good handful of green parsley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • hot pepper flakes
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • pepper and salt to taste

Servings: 8

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Fish plate:

Wash and clean the vegetables. Cut the peppers and onion into scales and simmer in oil until softened with a pinch of salt.

When they have softened, add the chopped tomatoes and the bay leaf and let it boil two or three more times together. Season with pepper and hot pepper to taste and add the finely chopped garlic.

We will put the whole composition over the fish, well washed and placed in a yenna tray or ceramic bowl. if you want you can leave the fish whole or you can slice it beforehand.

Preheat the oven to 180ºC and put the fish in the oven until the vegetables are reduced. At first keep the pot covered with a lid and after about 30 minutes put it aside.

When it is ready, lightly browned, take it out of the oven and sprinkle green parsley on top.

Serve with a hot polenta or with rice garnish!

Good appetite! is awesome!

Fish plate

The fish is cleaned of scales and intestines and washed very well. Cut into appropriately large pieces and salt. Let stand with salt for 20 minutes.

The pieces of fish are passed through flour and fried in hot oil.

After all the fish is fried, prepare the sauce.

Finely chop the onion and fry in the oil in which the fish was fried.

When the onion begins to brown, add the tomato sauce, finely chopped garlic, bay leaves, thyme, wine, salt and pepper.

Let it boil for 10 minutes.

Half of the resulting sauce is poured into a heat-resistant dish, the pieces of fried fish are placed over the sauce, and the rest of the sauce is added on top. Cover the pot with a lid and bake for 30 minutes.

Questions:

Thanks for the diet recipe.

Don't get mad at me, but this is just a baked fish with onions and tomatoes. The plate is made with fried fish which is added to the sauce made separately from a lot of onions with tomatoes, salt, pepper and 1-2 bay leaves and then everything is put a little in the oven. Try this and tell me what you think. I forgot to add a little white wine.

The crucian is a fish with many bones.
Carp is recommended, more fleshy and with bones
bigger.
Lettuce doesn't go well with fish plaice.
A dry white wine is better.

1. I really like recipes with "what I had in the fridge, what I didn't have or should have put in.".
Nobody cares what you cook. Here we are talking about recipes.
2. And if you had that bell pepper, all the dust is the recipe. It has nothing to do with fish plaque.
3. Hear an even better one: serve with lettuce! That was probably in the fridge too.

Correct. The fish must be fried a little on the plate, be sure to put a few bay leaves and, normally, from the bottle of white wine to be drunk at the table, it is sacrificed a little for the plate sauce.
Given a little in the oven, most of the dishes acquire a special taste, the flavors combine better.

Try a few slices of carrot and pepper +1 glass of bee wine instead of water. very good

The cleaned fish is cut into 3 cm thick pieces if it is thick, it splits in two, along the spine, each half being cut into pieces, 4-5 cm.

Heat the pan empty, then put all the oil that will heat immediately in it, place the pieces of fish, passed through the flour, which will be fried only in half, 2-3 minutes on each side and then take out on a plate.

In the remaining oil that is not burnt, put the onion cut into thin slices, sprinkled with a teaspoon of salt and cook for 10-15 minutes, over low heat (not directly on the flame), until it becomes shiny, without browning.

It can also be baked in the oven, if we don't have time to watch it, because the onion burns quickly. Add the tomato juice, wine, bay leaf, pepper, lemon juice and salt to taste and, finally, the pieces of fish and finely chopped garlic.

Bake for 20 minutes, over medium heat, continue to boil the fish, form the sauce, and raise the oil.

Baked fish

Fish is a food often recommended by nutritionists due to its multiple health benefits. Fortunately, fish dishes do not require much cooking time, and the recipes are varied. Below we tell you a delicious recipe for baked fish.

Dobrogean fish plate

To prepare this recipe, you will need fish - carp or other fish - that you will clean, cut into suitable pieces and fry in an oil bath. The fried fish is set aside, during which time the sauce is prepared. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Add canned red onions or scalded and chopped tomatoes on the spot. After five minutes, add another 100 grams of tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika, bay leaves, freshly chopped garlic and 1 liter of water. Boil this mixture for a quarter of an hour then transfer to an ovenproof dish, add the fried fish and bake for 20 minutes. For an authentic taste, towards the end, the sauce can be thinned with a little white wine. Sprinkle a handful of finely chopped green parsley and serve with polenta.
